We recently took part in a major intervention at Unit Mill 2 of CODELCO Andina Division, where, together with Salfamantenciones and Empresa Bunsa, we executed a highly complex drilling operation over a 17” weld build-up.
This type of work requires rigorous planning, specialized technical expertise, high-standard machinery, and strict operational control at every stage of the process. Our team worked alongside the concentrator crew, providing technical experience, continuous supervision, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Testing and Prior Technical Validation
Before executing the work on site, we carried out controlled tests at our own facilities using the same material that would later be intervened in the field.
These tests allowed us to:

Technically document the full scope for formal presentation to CODELCO.
